The Ion PI™ Sequencing 200 Kit v3 contains reagents and consumables for running the single-day sequencing workflow on the Ion Proton™ Sequencer. As an integral component of the Ion Proton™ sequencing platform, the Ion PI™ Sequencing 200 Kit v3 is designed to sequence templated Ion PI™ Ion Sphere™ particles deposited in Ion PI™ chips for fast human exome resequencing or transcriptional profiling.

The Ion PI™ Sequencing 200 Kit v3 provides you with:

• Support for Ion PI™ chips, enabling up to 80 million reads per run
• Sequencing throughputs of 10 Gb or greater with 200 base read lengths
• Rapid run times of only 2-4 hours
• Low cost per run for a variety of applications, including exome and whole transcriptome sequencing

Rapid and Comprehensive Genomic Profiling
The Ion Proton™ workflow, along with Ion AmpliSeq™ Exome technology and Ion Reporter™ Software, enables comprehensive exome sequencing on your benchtop. Delivering up to 80 million reads in a single run, the Ion Proton™ System, coupled with Ambion® RNA kits and Partek® Flow® Software, provides transcriptome sequencing on demand.

Single-Day Sequencing Workflow
The fast sequencing and data processing times of the Ion Proton™ System enable sample to results in a single day. With such rapid turnaround times, the Ion Proton™ System aims to be approximately three times faster than the projected performance of other next-generation sequencing platforms.

The Ion PI™ Sequencing 200 Kit v3 contains reagents for 8 sequencing reactions using the Ion Proton™ System. Kit components include sequencing supplies, enzymes, nucleotides, spike-in sequencing controls, and sequencing reagents.
