Description
Sodium Pyruvate Solution can be added to cell culture media as an additional, easily-accessible carbohydrate source in the cultivation of cells. Especially for rapidly growing cells, such as tumor cells, sodium pyruvate can be added to the growth medium.

This Sodium Pyruvate Solution (100 mM) is prepared in cell culture-grade water. The final concentration of sodium pyruvate used in most cell culture medium applications is 1 mM.
